About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at Days Inn Stouffville. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bedding and Linens: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Sanitation and Disinfection: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities, address customers' complaints or concerns, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
