Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing high-quality food and excellent customer service.
