About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at Assent. As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in driving the technical direction of our solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the technical quality of solutions delivered by your team, from discovery to delivery to adoption.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from product management, user experience, and quality assurance to understand customer problems.
  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable solutions, in conjunction with architects and other technical leads, that are optimized for our business.
  • Contribute to improving the overall quality of our solution by participating in design and code reviews from your own team and others.
  • Mentor other team members, helping them to improve their technical skills and overcome day-to-day problems.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and methods, driving their adoption where they can accelerate achieving the team's objectives.
  • Familiarize yourself with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 7 years of experience in the software development field.
  • Proven experience with AWS services (or other cloud solutions).
  • Expertise in our software stack (C#/.NET, MS SQL Server, Angular).
  • Expertise in designing large-scale distributed systems.
  • Ability to build, deploy, and observe software at scale.
  • Influencer who can work well with others and focuses on the merits of ideas.
  • Strong team player whose vision of the team extends beyond their reporting structure.
  • Critical thinker who can leverage powerful questions to help others see what they're not looking for.
  • Constant learner who every day brings a new opportunity for you and your team to discover something new.
