Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, goals, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of project team members.
  • Deliver project objectives and oversee quality control.
  • Facilitate working sessions and utilize various facilitation techniques and tools.
  • Develop full-scale project plans using a predictive approach and effectively communicate project expectations.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Deliver status reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Manage changes in project scope, budget, schedule, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of projects.
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in project management or related work experience.
  • Certification from a recognized Project Management Association, such as PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or PRINCE2's Practitioner.
  • Experience with presenting to and facilitating various group sizes and senior-level management would also be a requirement.
  • Experience managing IT or finance projects across multiple organizations or functional areas and high-pressure environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a government setting.
  • Certification or experience in Change Management.
  • Certification or experience in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or Black Belt).
