R&D Technical Writing Associate

The R&D Technical Writing Associate will play a crucial role in creating and revising complex technical writing reports and documentation. This position requires collaboration with subject matter experts to gather technical information and independently research engineering data. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing technical content, preparing documents through the Quality Management System, and liaising with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct documentation activities in compliance with quality practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with SMEs to gather technical information and research engineering data.
- Edit technical content, including document updates, reviewer inputs, and new documentation.
- Liaise with business units and SMEs for technical review.
- Prepare documents through the Quality Management System and track approval processes.
- Actively enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Engineering or Technical Writing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and project objectives.
- Demonstrated competence as a Technical Writer or Engineer through previous Co-ops and course projects.
- Previous experience working with Quality Management Systems is a great asset.
