About Joe's Pizza Stone - Tumbler Ridge

We are a dynamic and growing food service company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
    • Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations for improving restaurant operations.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire food service staff, ensuring that all new hires meet the company's standards and expectations.
    • Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and leading a team of food service staff.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise staff.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, providing insights and recommendations for improving restaurant operations.
Work Environment
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
