Job Title: Executive Chef

Castello Ristorante is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to optimize menu pricing and profitability.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to stay ahead of culinary trends and customer preferences.
  • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with our purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients and manage kitchen supplies.
  • Plan and execute special events and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Proven track record of menu development, cost control, and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Standing for extended periods and frequent lifting of heavy objects.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
