Executive Director OpportunityWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Director to lead our residence in Port Hope. Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility, ensuring exceptional resident care and a positive work environment.
Your Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership to achieve residents' goals and objectives.
- Manage financial, physical, and human resources effectively.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of care professionals.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the local community.
- Collaborate in budget planning and ensure responsible financial management.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in health or social services.
- Administrator's Certification (Minimum 100 hours of instruction time completed or enrolled).
- Ontario Fire Safety Training Certificate for Owners/Operators.
- 3+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the health or social services sector, or equivalent experience with Long-Term Care Administrator Certification.
- Existing Administrators OLTCHA Provision.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for serving seniors and making a positive impact on their lives.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to building lasting relationships.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety practices and principles.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and relevant legislation.
