Nurse Care Specialist

As a dedicated Registered Nurse at Southbridge Care Homes, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of nursing practice and providing compassionate care to residents in our long-term care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver resident care in accordance with established nursing standards, physicians' orders, and administrative policies.
- Assess and monitor residents, developing, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating resident care plans.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of nursing and personal care staff, including orientations and other supervisory duties.
- Monitor performance, conduct performance appraisals, and refer problems to the Director of Care.
- Provide direction to the nursing department in the absence of the DOC.
Requirements:
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- A passion for caring for seniors and a serving heart.
- Registered/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.
