Your Daily Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper, you will uphold exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property, including all communal areas.
Work Schedule: Full-time day shifts, 5 days a week. Flexibility to accommodate various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Work Environment: Any Southwest Properties facility.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Cleaning suites, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways; eliminating all stains and debris.
- Maintaining rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
- Emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash & waste to designated disposal areas.
- Using brooms, mops, and/or scrubbing machines for sweeping and scrubbing.
- Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment.
- Polishing silver accessories and metal fixtures.
- Replacing light bulbs in communal areas.
- Sorting clothing and other items, operating washing machines, and ironing and folding laundered items.
- Washing windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, including waxing & polishing as needed.
- Removing debris from parking lots and surrounding areas.
- Cleaning carpeted grates.
- Regularly cleaning fitness & entertainment areas; wiping down gym equipment.
- Ensuring cleanliness of pool and hot tub areas.
- Preparing vacant suites for showings and lease readiness.
- Conducting regular rounds of the complex to ensure overall cleanliness; escalating issues as necessary.
- Performing seasonal light landscaping tasks such as raking and garbage removal.
- Regularly cleaning barbecue and terrace areas (including furniture).
- Observing safety precautions to protect residents and reporting any damage, theft, or found items to the Assistant Property Manager.
- Requesting service repairs as needed.
- Adhering to the highest safety standards while performing all duties.
- Keeping the cleaning supply cart organized and well-stocked.
- Maintaining professional relationships with all residents and staff.
- Escorting contractors around the building when the Concierge is unavailable.
- Ensuring all housekeeping equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.
Your Work Environment
The Housekeeper will be required to stand and walk for extended periods and may encounter occasional heavy lifting. Seasonal duties may be influenced by weather conditions.
