About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Mae Cleaning. As a key member of our cleaning crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Elevator Cleaning: Clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Trash and Debris Removal: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Changing Rooms and Showers: Clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Cleaning service company, various locations, willing to relocate.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, overtime required.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, initiative, organized, team player, values and ethics, honesty.
