CB Canada is currently seeking a skilled Change and Communications Analyst to support our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
The Change and Communications Analyst will be responsible for delivering essential services to facilitate the transition to Microsoft Exchange Online, Teams, and other Cloud Services projects:
- Implement a structured approach and coordinate change management efforts,
- Utilize change management methodologies, processes, and tools to strategize and enhance the adoption of project-related changes,
- Conduct impact assessments, evaluate change effects and readiness, and assist key stakeholders,
- Collaborate with Cloud Services Leadership and relevant teams to identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation strategies,
- Establish and maintain communication channels, activities, and feedback mechanisms with stakeholders,
- Support Cloud Services initiatives through effective communication and adoption strategies,
- Create processes to collect and share key project milestones, achievements, and updates,
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance in collaboration with the Change Lead,
- Develop an engagement strategy, plan, and schedule to facilitate application training and deployment activities,
- Work with IMITS Communications, Business & Clinical Working Groups, governance, and site sponsors to design, develop, deliver, and manage key communications,
- Provide input, document requirements, and assist in the design and delivery of training programs, and
- Support the Cloud Services team.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports, briefing notes, and other documentation for senior management and governance groups,
- Lead and develop use cases, as well as design, develop, and implement new processes, systems, and enhancements,
- Conduct business, clinical, and technical analysis, process re-engineering activities, and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities,
- Facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and other materials,
- Create presentation and training materials, status reports, and perform related administrative tasks, and
- Other duties as assigned.
Core Deliverables:
- A documented transition plan for the change and communications framework,
- Communications and Change Management plans as needed,
- Stakeholder analysis and engagement plan,
- Channels for communications and stakeholder feedback,
- Communication and Engagement toolkits,
- Training materials to support the transition, and
- Documentation processes, workflows, policies, and procedures.
Mandatory Skills:
- 4+ years of experience with large-scale IT projects
- 2+ years of experience within a Canadian Health Authority
- Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Proven ability to support technology adoption through change management methodologies, communication, and education
- Experience in developing cross-disciplinary communication materials and tools
- Strong background in creating and implementing clinical and business change management strategies and communication plans
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and business writing skills
- Excellent active listening abilities
- Capability to clearly convey messages to diverse audiences
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Influential in guiding others toward a common vision or goal
- Adaptable and flexible in ambiguous situations

Desirable Skills:
- 2+ years of experience within BC Health Authorities
- Prosci Certified Change Practitioner designation (or equivalent) preferred
- Degree/Diploma in Communications, Business Administration, or related field
- Familiarity with Project Management methodologies and tools
- Experience in migrating on-premise Microsoft services to Microsoft 365 cloud services
- Knowledge of hospital/clinical systems, care delivery processes, and clinical roles, preferably within the Canadian Health Authorities environment
- Experience with SharePoint site administration
