Change and Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Change and Communications Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the transition to Microsoft Exchange Online, Teams, and other Cloud Services projects.
Key Responsibilities- Change Management: Apply a structured methodology and coordinate change management activities to ensure a seamless transition.
- Communication Strategy: Develop and implement communication plans to support adoption of changes required by the project.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct impact analyses, assess change impacts and readiness, and support key stakeholders.
- Risk Mitigation: Work with Cloud Services Leadership and relevant stakeholder teams to identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
- Communication Channels: Develop and support communication channels, activities, and feedback with stakeholders.
- Project Support: Support Cloud Services initiatives with communication and adoption strategies.
- Process Development: Create processes to gather and disseminate key project milestones, achievements, and updates.
- Resistance Management: Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance with Change Lead.
- Training and Development: Develop an engagement strategy, plan, and schedule to support application training and deployment activities.
- Communication Design: Liaise with IMITS Communications, Business & Clinical Working Groups, governance, and site sponsors to design, develop, deliver, and manage key communications.
- Training Program Support: Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs and efforts.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience with large complex IT projects.
- Canadian Health Authority Experience: 2+ years of experience within a Canadian Health Authority.
- Change Management: Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to support technology adoption through change management methodologies, communication, and education.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communications/presentation, and business writing skills.
- Active Listening: Excellent active listening skills.
- Articulation: Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Influence: Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Flexibility: Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

- Large-Scale Change: Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
- MS Office: Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- BC Health Authorities Experience: 2+ years of experience within BC Health Authorities.
- Prosci Certification: Prosci Certified Change Practitioner designation (or equivalent) preferred.
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Project Management: Working knowledge of/experience with Project Management methodologies and tools.
- Cloud Services: Experience with migrating on-premise Microsoft services to Microsoft 365 cloud services.
- Hospital/Clinical Systems: Working knowledge of hospital/clinical systems, care delivery processes, clinical roles, policies, and standards preferably gained in the Canadian Health Authorities environment.
- SharePoint Administration: SharePoint site administration.
