No experience? No worries Kindred Home Care partners with Peak Form Health & Safety Academy to offer training in First Aid, CPR, and Personal Care Aide II. This extensive training program is designed to equip you with the essential skills needed to thrive as a Home Support Worker, specifically tailored for individuals in New Brunswick.

As a Home Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing meals
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the home
  • Running errands
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Offering companionship

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Experience in home care, special care homes, or nursing facilities is advantageous
  • Background in food preparation, housekeeping, or janitorial services is beneficial
  • Personal experience in caring for the elderly or individuals with special needs is valued
  • A clear criminal record and background checks are required
  • Current First Aid, CPR, or Personal Care Aide II certifications are considered a plus
  • Access to a vehicle or willingness to utilize public transportation/cycling is necessary
  • Basic technology skills, including phone, email, and computer access, are essential
