Responsibilities
  • Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment.
  • Display a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for math.
  • Supervise, interact with, and motivate students.
  • Reward students for completed work and especially for demonstrated mastery.
  • Evaluate and document student progress.
  • Communicate student needs to the Center Director.
Requirements
  • A thorough knowledge of math up to and including pre-calculus.
  • Experience either teaching or learning within the British Columbia, Canadian education system.
  • A passion for teaching kids.
  • We prioritize candidates with 5 day/week, 3-7 p.m. availability.
