Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Math Education Center Director to lead our team at Mathnasium of LangleyBC. As a Math Education Center Director, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center, including screening, hiring, training, and scheduling employees, leading and motivating team members, marketing the Mathnasium program, conducting sales, administering student assessments, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Center Operations: Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center, including scheduling, employee management, and center maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate team members by developing them professionally and personally, and ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Marketing and Sales: Market the Mathnasium program by building school and community relationships, and conduct sales by promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students.
  • Student Assessment and Progress: Administer student assessments, identify learning gaps, and develop customized learning plans to ensure student success.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress.
  • Center Performance: Monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success.
Requirements
  • Education: Completed Bachelor's Degree, preferred in education, math, or related field.
  • Experience: Previous management or leadership experience preferred, as well as previous customer relationships and sales experience.
  • Math Competency: Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, including digital educational materials and processes.
