Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Math Instructor to join our team at Mathnasium of Langley. As a Math Instructor, you will be responsible for developing rapport with students, establishing a fun learning environment, and displaying a positive attitude towards math.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Engagement: Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment that fosters a love for math.
  • Math Instruction: Display a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for math, while supervising, interacting with, and motivating students.
  • Progress Evaluation: Evaluate and document student progress, and communicate student needs to the Center Director.
  • Student Recognition: Reward students for completed work and demonstrated mastery.
Requirements
  • Math Knowledge: A thorough knowledge of math up to and including pre-calculus.
  • Teaching Experience: Experience either teaching or learning within the British Columbia, Canadian education system.
  • Passion for Teaching: A passion for teaching kids and making a positive impact on their academic success.
  • Availability: We prioritize candidates with 5 day/week, 3-7 p.m. availability.
