In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop project plans, establish timelines, and adjust as necessary.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain responsiveness to client needs.
  • Identify, manage, and report on project risks and opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the project team to achieve project goals while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Handle change requests, prepare quotations, and implement modifications with the necessary support from technical and other staff.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a technologist diploma with 7 to 10 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with virtual teams across different cultures.
  • Understanding of project finances and contractual agreements.
  • Experience in overseeing projects with installation or construction components.
  • Familiarity with the mining sector is advantageous.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% for short business trips.
