Senior Technical Program Manager, Amazon Shopping Videos

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC - K03. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the Amazon Live program technical/engineering projects for both our retail shoppable video watching customers and our creator/influencer cohort producing high-value livestreams to engage our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Execute and deliver technical/engineering projects for Amazon Live, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, marketing, and senior leadership, to drive business objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Manage and mitigate risks, blockers, and dependencies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Own reporting mechanisms, including program reviews, and contribute to organizational-wide metrics and reporting.
- Participate in OP1 and OP2 discussions to gain context on business objectives and goals.
- Streamline existing reporting processes to remove duplication and waste in status reporting to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.
- 5+ years of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
