Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Administrative Assistant to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our healthcare support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, including greeting patients, introducing them to ongoing education requirements, and assisting with clinic operations.
  • Answer phone and fax calls, confirm next appointment dates, and place orders for office supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Head Office Clinics Coordinator, Clinics Management Team, and Business Area Manager to facilitate new clinic start-ups, deliveries, and equipment installations.
  • Follow up with programs and pharmacies on missing medication or documentation, and troubleshoot IT-related issues in assigned clinics.
  • Prepare charts and medications for the next day's appointments, transport medication and supplies to other clinics as needed, and complete discontinued drug logs.
  • Assist with monthly inventory, complete components of regular audits, and expedite courier requests.
  • Support the Business Area Manager with quality initiatives related to maintaining ISO certification and assist in updating the Health and Safety board.
  • Archive and return discharged patient charts to Head Office and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in medical office administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and learn new skills as required.
  • Bilingualism, French/English is an asset.
