Job Title: Group Social Worker

We are seeking a skilled Group Social Worker to join our team at the PEI Rape and Sexual Assault Centre Inc. The successful candidate will work with clients to assess their situation and develop programs of assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview clients individually, in families, or in groups to assess their situation and problems.
  • Plan programs of assistance for clients, including counseling and therapy services.
  • Counsel clients and provide mediation services to facilitate group sessions.
  • Work with clients to identify their needs and develop strategies to address them.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience working with clients in a community service organization setting is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of in-person and remote work. The position is temporary, with a variable schedule of 13-18 hours per month.

The primary language of work is English.
