Job Summary

The Staff Pharmacist plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and services at Walmart Canada. As a key member of the pharmacy team, this individual will assist the Pharmacy Manager in overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized patient care and counseling on medication use and management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and services.
  • Operate pharmacy equipment and technology to fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, regulations, and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
