Positions Available:

We are looking for dedicated Journeyman Electricians and Electrical Apprentices to become part of our expanding team. Our focus is on new construction projects as well as the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with current electrical standards and client specifications. We prioritize safety and efficiency, ensuring our clients' systems operate seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install conduits and various electrical enclosures and fittings.
  • Route and connect wires and cables through conduits, install and maintain distribution and control devices such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels, as well as data and fiber optic cabling.
  • Adapt to various environmental conditions, including outdoor work in all weather.
  • Install fixtures and devices for industrial applications.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of electrical principles, circuitry, and power distribution systems, along with familiarity with construction materials and techniques.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must possess a Certificate of Qualification as a registered Electrical Apprentice.
  • At least 2 years of relevant trade experience, including apprenticeship.
  • Familiarity with the Nova Scotia Electrical Safety Code and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Experience with Building Automation Controls and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of Class 1 Division 1 environments.
  • Self-driven and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
