Position Overview:

We are looking for dedicated Journeyman Electricians and Electrical Apprentices to join our dynamic team. Our focus is on new construction projects and the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with current electrical codes and client specifications. We prioritize safety and efficiency, ensuring our clients' equipment operates optimally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, thread, bend, and install conduits and various electrical enclosures and fittings.
  • Route wires and cables through conduits, and install distribution and control devices such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, and fuse enclosures.
  • Work under varying environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
  • Install fixtures and devices for industrial systems.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of electrical principles, circuitry, and power distribution systems, along with familiarity with construction materials and techniques.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Must possess a Certificate of Qualification as a registered Electrical Apprentice.
  • At least 2 years of relevant trade experience, including apprenticeship.
  • Familiarity with the Nova Scotia Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other applicable regulations.
  • Experience with Building Automation Controls and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of Class 1 Division 1 environments.
  • Self-driven and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
