Positions Available: Electricians – Journeyman and Electrical Apprentices

We are looking for dedicated Journeyman Electricians and Electrical Apprentices to become part of our expanding team. Our focus is on new construction projects as well as the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems, adhering to current electrical standards and client specifications. We prioritize safety and efficiency, ensuring that our clients' equipment operates optimally.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits and various types of electrical enclosures and fittings.
  • Pull wires and cables through conduits, position, maintain, and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, and fuse enclosures. Install both single and multi-wire cables, data cabling, and maintain fiber optic and signaling systems.
  • Work in a variety of environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
  • Install fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of electrical principles, circuitry, and power distribution systems, along with familiarity with construction materials and techniques.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Certificate of Qualification as a registered Electrical Apprentice.
  • At least 2 years of relevant trade experience, including apprenticeship.
  • Familiarity with the Nova Scotia Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other applicable regulations.
  • Experience with Building Automation Controls.
  • Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems.
  • Experience in Class 1 Division 1 environments.
  • Self-driven and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
