Coffee Shop Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Good Earth Coffeehouse Capital Park. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to manage food preparation, inventory, and customer service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Ensure that all food and beverage products meet our high quality standards.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and memorable.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve our business goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- Financial Management
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor and control costs, including inventory, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with food safety, customer service, and staff management.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Our coffee shop is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
