Qualifications and Experience:
A Master's Degree in a relevant field of Psychology is required. A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Psychologist or equivalent, or as a provisional Registered Psychologist (with an Education degree) is necessary. Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists as a full-practicing member with an Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE). A valid Driver's License is essential. Experience in providing human services is advantageous. Proficiency in computer operations, word processing applications, and relevant software used in educational settings is expected.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Registered Psychologist will undertake various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

- Actively participating as a member of the Student Services team to fulfill the mission of the organization
- Serving as a psychological resource within the educational framework
- Applying psychological principles to analyze students' behavioral and learning challenges
- Identifying and assessing students' learning and developmental needs, along with environmental factors impacting their education
- Conducting psychoeducational assessments, including administering standardized tools, interpreting results, and preparing reports
- Observing classroom environments and gathering case history information through interviews and checklists
- Providing data from psychological assessments to inform intervention strategies for students and educational teams
- Consulting with parents, educators, and other professionals regarding assessment results and intervention recommendations
- Documenting assessment findings comprehensively, including referral reasons, background information, instruments used, and recommendations
- Liaising with external agencies to ensure comprehensive service delivery
- Demonstrating knowledge of interventions based on the Response to Intervention model
- Offering workshops and in-service training in areas of expertise when requested
- Staying informed about current research related to children's mental health and exceptionalities
- Submitting reports as required and maintaining ethical standards in practice.
