Qualifications and Experience:
A Master's Degree in a relevant field of Psychology. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Psychologist or equivalent, or as a provisional Registered Psychologist (with an Education degree). Must be eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists as a full-practicing member with an Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE). Must hold a current and valid Driver's License. Experience in delivering human services is advantageous. Proficiency in using computers, word processing applications, and other software commonly utilized in educational settings is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Registered Psychologist will undertake various duties including but not limited to:

- Actively participate as a member of the Student Services team to fulfill the vision and mission of the organization.
- Serve as a psychological resource within the educational framework.
- Employ a psychological perspective to analyze students' behavioral and learning challenges.
- Identify and evaluate the learning and developmental needs of students, considering environmental factors impacting their learning and success.
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, including administering standardized assessment tools, interpreting results, writing reports, and debriefing findings.
- Provide observations in classroom settings, review files, gather case history through interviews and checklists, and evaluate other professional assessments.
- Utilize assessment data to inform recommendations for intervention strategies for students and their support teams.
- Ensure timely execution of assessment procedures.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals during post-assessment discussions regarding results and intervention strategies.
- Document assessment findings comprehensively, including reasons for referral, background information, instruments used, results interpretation, and recommendations.
- When necessary, suggest referrals to external agencies.
- Liaise with other organizations to facilitate comprehensive service delivery to students, families, and educators.
- Demonstrate knowledge and ability to provide interventions based on the Response to Intervention model and needs-based approaches.
- Offer workshops and training in areas of expertise to educators and support staff upon request.
- Share current research related to children's mental health, assessment, and various exceptionalities.
- Submit reports to the Student Services Coordinator and provide necessary documentation as required.
- Uphold ethical standards in the delivery of school psychology services, adhering to relevant laws and policies.
- Maintain professional competency through ongoing professional development.
- Conduct oneself in a manner suitable for a professional learning environment.
- Interact tactfully with staff, students, families, and the public.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Coordinator of Student Services or the Deputy Director of Education and School Operations.
