About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter Helper to join our team at New Leaf Painting Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will assist our painters in various tasks related to construction and site maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Instruct Apprentices: Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices on site, ensuring they understand and follow safety protocols and best practices.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials, ensuring they are properly stored and secured.
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants: Respond to and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on site, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Remove Rubble and Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Work Environment and Conditions
  • Work Under Pressure: Work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as loading and unloading materials, for extended periods.
