About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team at Sandhu Drywall Ltd as a Helper, Painter and Decorator. This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Site Preparation: Help prepare construction sites by erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment.
  • Mixing and Applying Materials: Assist in mixing and applying materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris.
  • Material Handling: Assist in handling and storing materials, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
  • Spill Response: Assist in responding to chemical spills and other contaminants.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
