Laboratory and Imaging Technologist II

As a Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II, you will oversee and manage the daily functions of the department's personnel and services within your designated area. Your role will encompass the coordination, organization, and administration of the Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments.
You will be tasked with executing specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, conducting diagnostic imaging examinations, performing cardiology procedures, and fulfilling related responsibilities in accordance with established standards and practices set forth by the regulatory bodies.

- Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Weekends, On Call
- Days Off: As Per Rotation
- Minimum Salary: $38.39
- Maximum Salary: $49.34
Required: Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
Additional Required Qualifications: Proficiency in English communication. A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging. Proven track record in supervisory roles within a diagnostic environment. A commitment to ongoing professional development. Experience with method or equipment evaluations, including statistical analysis. Familiarity with quality improvement processes, conflict resolution, and customer service. Extensive knowledge of computer systems and software applications. Experience in conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective measures. Understanding of Accreditation standards and addressing deficiencies. Knowledge of Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging Safety practices. Strong ability to provide and receive constructive feedback. Proven capability to prioritize tasks, delegate assignments, and manage stress effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of supervisory experience. Completion of leadership training, including team building and conflict resolution. Experience in developing and supervising effective teams. Proficiency in various software applications, including EPIC, WellSky, e-people, Recruitment Management System, i-Expense, Microsoft Word, Excel, My Safety Net, and Sharepoint.
