Position Overview:

As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II, you will oversee and manage the daily functions of the department staff and services within your designated area. Your role will encompass the coordination, organization, and administration of the Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments.

Your responsibilities will include executing both manual and automated laboratory procedures, conducting diagnostic imaging examinations, performing cardiology tasks, and fulfilling related duties in accordance with the established standards and practices set forth by the relevant regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

Required: Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT).

Additional Required Qualifications: Proficiency in English communication, a minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging, and a proven track record in supervisory roles within a diagnostic environment. You should demonstrate a commitment to professional development and possess experience in method evaluations, quality improvement, conflict resolution, and customer service.

Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of supervisory experience, completion of leadership training, and familiarity with various software applications relevant to the role.
