Our team has recently achieved a milestone by successfully designing and constructing a first-generation Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft. This innovative, fully autonomous eVTOL features a remarkable 3-meter wingspan, equipped with four vertical lift motors for multicopter operations and a pusher motor for cruising, enabling a flight duration of 45 minutes at a speed of 80 km/h. Key attributes of the eVTOL include a custom 2-axis gimbal, complete autonomy powered by a high-speed onboard computer, and a cabin designed for four simulated passengers.
As we look to the future, we are excited to introduce new designs and initiatives aimed at expanding our international capabilities.
Position Summary
The Engineering Society of Queen's University is currently seeking a Director of Business and Operations to enhance our operational efficiency and streamline business processes. This role is crucial for our continued growth, focusing on increasing sponsorship revenue and elevating the quality of our marketing efforts. The Director will play a pivotal role in expanding our Business Operations Branch to improve communication and project management.
Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with the Sponsorship, Marketing, and Logistics Subteam Managers
