About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team at PCL Construction Management Inc. in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on HSE procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement emergency response plans and security protocols.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and trends.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related industry, with a strong understanding of OH&S legislation and HSE processes.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
