About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Betty's at The Kitch. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and functions, including menu planning and food preparation.
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs, and plan menus to meet customer demands.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory records.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, and inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient service.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage kitchen staff.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
