In this role, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will oversee the accounts payable department. Acting as the primary point of contact for dealership Controllers, you will facilitate communication between the dealerships and the accounts payable team. We seek a meticulous leader with exceptional communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Management of Accounts Payable:- Supervise the accounts payable operations, ensuring precision, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
- Formulate and execute accounts payable guidelines to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Guide the accounts payable team, offering support, mentorship, and training as necessary.
- Encourage a collaborative and high-achieving team atmosphere.
- Evaluate accounts payable workflows to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and boost efficiency.
- Adopt best practices and automation solutions to optimize accounts payable functions.
- Assist in the processing of incoming invoices as required, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all accounts payable activities.
- Promptly address and resolve accounts payable-related issues.
- Make informed decisions to improve team performance and task execution.
- Oversee month-end accounts payable reporting across various dealerships.
- Generate reports and provide analytical insights regarding accounts payable, highlighting spending trends for management.
- Maintain strong working relationships with dealership Controllers and assist with accounts payable inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless accounts payable operations.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting capacity, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve objectives.
- Excellent organizational capabilities.
- Familiarity with YOOZ application software is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
