Job Title: Bookkeeper

Hat's Restaurant is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, attention to detail, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, organized, time management.
