The position is available at the La Baie office.

As a Senior Accountant or Senior Accounting Professional - Corporate Accounting Services, you will:

  • Perform monthly accounting for various clients, including closing the accounting books and reconciling registers, all while respecting established budgets and timelines;

  • Perform bank reconciliations, account analyses, and discrepancies;

  • Prepare payroll registers, DAS, government reports CSST, TPS, TVQ, etc.;

  • Train clients on accounting software and other accounting topics, and offer telephone assistance;

  • Prepare year-end tax forms (T-4 and may prepare T-5);

  • May communicate with government authorities to follow up on files;

  • May prepare certain documents and worksheets required as part of the reader notification process or small business examination missions;

  • May participate in preparing personal tax returns and follow-ups;

  • May participate in compiling missions, including producing the company's tax return.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or relevant experience;

  • 2 years of relevant experience;

  • Experience in a accounting firm (an asset);

  • Good knowledge of the accounting cycle and consumption tax principles;

  • Ability to work in a team;

  • Excellent polyvalence, resourcefulness, and customer service skills;

  • Good knowledge of French;

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software and other specialized software (Acomba and Quickbooks).
