Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Finance Leader to join our team at 3P Partners. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions and drive growth.
    • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and business units.
  • Financial Leadership
    • Lead the finance function, including financial planning, accounting, and reporting.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Drive process improvements and efficiency gains across the organization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Strategic Partnerships
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banking and CPA partners.
    • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations to drive growth and innovation.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of providing strategic financial leadership in a mid-sized company with multiple business units.
  • Prior experience with P&L ownership and broad commercial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, planning, resource allocation, and leadership development.
  • Experience leveraging a background in strategic finance to bolster FP&A and reporting, with a strong understanding of GAAP requirements.
  • Balanced operational and strategic skills, with the ability to support tactical finance tasks while contributing to strategic planning.
  • M&A experience, with a strong understanding of ROIC and the ability to run due diligence and integration of new business units.
  • Naturally curious, flexible, resourceful, and results-oriented, with a strong service ethic.
  • High level of integrity and emotional intelligence, with strong communication skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field; CPA, MBA, or other higher certification/education is a plus.
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish a plus.
