We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Grocery Store Operations Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of supervisors and their teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and support a team of supervisors and their teams, including coaching, development, and conflict management.
- Recruit, retain, train, and onboard staff, volunteers, and students, ensuring a high-performing team.
- Manage program operations, including program development, budgeting, resource allocation, and relationships with funders and community partners.
- Ensure staff and participant safety, and maintain accurate and efficient documentation and data entry.
- Represent our organization at community development and neighborhood meetings, and engage in community consultation and development initiatives.
- Provide strategic oversight of tracking, documentation, and progression towards permanent housing through our database.
- Engage with local, provincial, and federal associations related to supportive housing, affordable housing, addictions, mental health, and homelessness.
- University degree in Social Work, Counselling, or related field of study.
- Experience in collaboration, program development, and implementation.
- Emotional intelligence, resilience, communication, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work professionally as a team member with staff, participants, and community members.
- Strong intercultural competency and ability to recognize and respect cultural diversity.
- Dependability, professionalism, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
