**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Identify and prevent theft, mischief, and fraud in our stores and facilities.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Observe and greet customers, approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.
  • Conduct security audits of our buildings and assets, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Perform arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Document all evidence and type clear and concise reports as required.

**Requirements:**

  • A valid MB Security Worker's Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between various store locations.
  • Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Valid Advanced Security Training/AST (considered an asset).
  • Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).
  • Open availability (considered an asset).
