Medical Director, Sexual Assault Service Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Sexual Assault Service at BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical leadership and direction to our service, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical leadership and direction to the Sexual Assault Service, ensuring the highest quality of care for patients.
- Cultivate alliances with other hospitals and community agencies to coordinate and provide provincial services through partnerships and networking.
- Develop and implement clinical practice standards and guidelines for the Sexual Assault Service.
- Participate in teaching and research activities, both locally and provincially.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to establish clinical, teaching, and research plans for the programs within your portfolio.
- Provide guidance on the identification of emerging issues and opportunities for the Sexual Assault Service.
- Candidates must hold a Medical Degree and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- Advanced training and/or experience in sexual assault services, women's health, and healthcare for vulnerable populations is an asset.
- The Medical Director will remain an active member of the on-call roster for the Sexual Assault Service.
- The successful candidate will be eligible for a faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia.
