Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic Helper to assist our skilled tradespersons and apprentices in the body shop. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our repair services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices with various tasks, including moving tools and equipment, cleaning machines, and preparing auto body surfaces for painting.
  • Help with the operation, repair, and maintenance of vehicles, including filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces.
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and odorous environment.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina required.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
