Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic Helper to assist our skilled tradespersons in the repair and maintenance of vehicles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our workshop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices with various tasks, including moving equipment and materials, cleaning machines, and preparing vehicles for repair.
  • Perform tasks such as filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces to be repaired.
  • Help with the operation, repair, and maintenance of vehicles, including masking and taping auto body surfaces for painting.
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Work Environment

As an Automotive Mechanic Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work in a noisy, dusty, and odorous workshop, with frequent exposure to heavy equipment and materials.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative when needed.
