Role Overview: Senior Inventory Supervisor
In this position, you will lead by example, demonstrating how to engage with customers, promote the brand's lifestyle, and deliver outstanding service. You will implement and maintain operational standards that safeguard the brand's image and interests. Collaborating with the management team, you will enhance individual performance and establish effective routines that drive productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee Back of House operations: inventory management, receiving, shipping, stockroom organization, and markdown execution.
- Facilitate customer fulfillment across all channels, ensuring that services meet customer needs while preserving profitability and brand integrity.
- Train and mentor team members on productivity and performance related to inventory management and fulfillment processes.
- Manage shipping and processing areas to ensure efficient handling of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to minimize loss and establish daily practices that prevent shrinkage.
- Foster a respectful environment where all associates are treated with dignity, in line with our People First Philosophy.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Proven track record of motivating and influencing others through personal example.
- 1-3 years of retail experience, with a preference for management experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in home-related or specialty roles (e.g., design, visual merchandising, stockroom duties) is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift and move medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using appropriate equipment and safety measures.
- Full-time associates should have flexible availability to meet business needs.
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available for a minimum of two shifts on weekends and two during the week.
