Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented sales professional to join our team at Payless Sand and Gravel Inc. as a Sales Associate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cash registers and process sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide expert advice on merchandise and services to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Estimate prices, credit terms, and delivery dates for customers, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Greet customers and discuss merchandise or services, building strong relationships with our clients.
  • Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control, ensuring our stock levels remain optimal.
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase or rental, ensuring it is presented in a visually appealing manner.
Work Environment
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling are required for this role, as well as repetitive tasks.
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role, as we operate on a 35-hour workweek.
