Job Title: Controls Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Lead to join our team at Brave Control Solutions Inc. in a key role that will drive the delivery of quality custom automation solutions to our clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software code for PLC, Robot applications, and HMI from scratch.
  • Design and develop industrial electrical panels and select components.
  • Test, configure, and integrate motion control solutions.
  • Lead debug and testing activities, and machine commissioning and start-up activities on the customer's site.
  • Lead teams of specialists to complete project tasks and ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a controls engineer or technologist.
  • Engineering degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or technology diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Legally eligible to work in both Canada and the United States.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice to Have:

  • Project Management Experience.
  • Experience leading teams of 2-5 people.
  • Experience estimating for quotes and proposals.
