Job Title: Controls Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Lead to join our team at Brave Control Solutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The Controls Lead will be responsible for delivering high-quality custom automation solutions to our clients across various industries, including construction, automotive, food and beverage, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing software code for PLC, Robot applications, and HMI from scratch
  • Safety programming and industrial electrical panel design
  • Testing, configuring, and integrating motion control solutions
  • Robotics and automation simulation
  • Leading debug and testing activities
  • Leading machine commissioning and start-up activities on the customer's site
  • Coordinating with specialists to complete project tasks and ensure quality standards are met

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a controls engineer or technologist
  • Engineering degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or technology diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Legally eligible to work in both Canada and the United States
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management experience
  • Experience leading teams of 2-5 people
  • Experience estimating for quotes and proposals
