Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team at Northwestel. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with senior leadership, employees, and external stakeholders to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that support business objectives, including talent management, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and achieve company goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to the organization.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in talent management, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment and knowledge of employment equity laws and regulations.
