Position Overview

AECOM GTA is actively seeking a Requirement Management Lead to join our Systems Engineering and Systems Assurance Team in Ontario. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to manage both current and future project portfolios.

Key Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with ISO 15288 standards, particularly in the railway industry.
  • Proficiency in Requirement Management tools, such as DOORS NG or ComplyPro.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing System Engineering plans and processes, ensuring adherence by project teams.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Draft or evaluate Systems Engineering Management plans, including Requirements Management Plan, V&V Management Plan, System Quality Assurance Plan, and Configuration Management Plan.
  • Assess Verification and Validation evidence against established requirements and specifications.
  • Examine derived requirements, focusing on safety and security considerations.
  • Conduct requirements analysis to identify gaps, redundancies, and contradictions.
  • Generate regular reports on the status of V&V activities.
  • Prepare weekly or monthly engineering updates for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Independent Safety Assessor to address observations and demonstrate compliance with safety standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Requirement Management within Railway projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of experience in Railway Projects.
  • Professional Engineer designation (Peng) is an asset.
